Tentative Summer Schedule
June 2 -- Graduation from Swarthmore College
June 3-- Back to the Eastern Shore
June 5-9-- Back to Swarthmore to work Alumni Weekend
June 16-- Presentation about SALT at Holly Grove Mennonite Church
August 14-- SALT orientation at Mennonite Central Committee's Akron, PA office
August 21-22-- Departure for Amman, Jordan
August 22-September 18-- In country orientation and intense Arabic lessons in Amman
September 19-ish-- Moving to Irbid
End of September - Early October -- Starting as a Teacher Assistant at the Arab Episcopal School!
In other news: I've reached 20% of my fund raising goal! Well, on my website I only have 10%, but my home church, Holly Grove Mennonite, as pledged more. Still got $4,500 to go, so please donate!
Now, all I need is to find a summer job and I will be all set with my plans for the next 3-4 months!
